Closure of CIPO’s designated establishment in Halifax, effective May 15, 2012

As of May 15, 2012, there will no longer be a CIPO designated establishment in Halifax to which correspondence addressed to the Commissioner of Patents, the Registrar of Trade-marks, the Copyright Office or the Registrar of Topographies may be delivered in person. Please consult CIPO's Correspondence Procedures for the alternative methods for submitting correspondence. Please note that CIPO continues to have a Business Development Officer working in the Atlantic region.
