What can I do if I feel my patent agent has not acted professionally?

If you feel that your agent has not acted professionally, you must submit a document/letter to the Commissioner giving full details of the alleged misconduct. The Commissioner will review all complaints and may refuse to recognize any person as a patent agent.

Please note, the Commissioner has no authority to regulate the fees charged by patent agents and does not get involved in disputes over fees.

Please refer to the PAB pages for additional information.
