Can I ask for a delay in the registration of my industrial design?

It is possible that you may want to delay registration. In this case, the Office requires a written request and the prescribed fee. A six-month delay will be granted from the date of receipt of your request. At any time prior to the end of the six-month period, you may request an end to the delay and the application will proceed to registration.
