The Vancouver Group
February 16, 2011
In 2008, IP Australia, the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and the Intellectual Property Office of the United Kingdom established a number of collaborative projects under the title of the "Vancouver Group"
The name of the Vancouver Group was chosen because the first formal meeting took place in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The Vancouver Group aims to:
- share information and experiences on common issues and areas relevant to managing a mid-sized national IP office; and
- contribute to a more effective multilateral approach to work sharing.
There are four areas of focus for the Vancouver Group:
Contacts
- Intellectual Property Australia: Ms Gillian Jenkins
- Canadian Intellectual Property Office: International Relations Office
- United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office: Mr Andrew Bartlett
