Consultation and discussion

The proposed amendments to the Trade-marks Regulations aim at modernizing and simplifying the administration of the trade-mark opposition regime to increase effectiveness and reduce operational costs for business. For example, the amendments to the Regulations may affect the timing and conduct of cross-examinations, allow for the electronic filing of evidence, and set prescribed deadlines for filing and serving written arguments and requesting hearings.
