Extension of Time

Note: This notice is intended to provide guidance on current Industrial Design Office practice and interpretation of relevant legislation. However, in the event of any inconsistency between this notice and the applicable legislation, the legislation must be followed.

Effective immediately, upon receipt of a written request, the Industrial Design Office will grant one extension of time of 6 months from the expiration date of the specified time limit to respond to a report.

Failure to respond within this 6-month period will result in the application becoming abandoned.
