Canadian applications open to public inspection and granted patents

Subscriptions of Canadian patent applications open to public inspection, from July 4, 1999, and patents granted, from January 1, 2000, are available through license agreement with CIPO.

Each subscription contains images of patent documents, bibliographic and abstract data and a cumulative index.

Mimosa software was used to produce the CD-Rs in accordance with the World Intellectual Property Organization Standard ST.40 (1993) [PDF 330KB]. This software contains searchable indices that permit the retrieval of patents by bibliographic and abstract data. A prototype tutorial on the use of the Mimosa software is available (in English only).
