How to Become a Registered Trade-mark Agent

To become a registered trade-mark agent you must qualify by examination, which is held annually in October. Those interested in the examination must apply by the deadline published in the Trade-mark Agent Examination Notice.

Any person wishing to sit for the qualifying examination must meet the qualifications set out in Rule 18 of the Trade-marks Regulations.

Rule 21 of the Trade-marks Regulations explains how to have your name entered on the list of trade-mark agents.
