Introduction
Welcome to the Canadian Trade-marks Database. This database allows you to access over 140 years of Canadian trade-marks data. You can search, retrieve and study more than 1,200,000 Canadian trade-marks that include all active marks and all inactive marks that were cancelled, expunged, abandoned or refused after 1979.

Notice - Sound Marks
CIPO is accepting applications for the registration of trade-marks consisting of sounds. Please note that you now can search the Canadian Trade-marks Database for sound marks. To listen to a sound, click on its hyperlink within the details page of the trade-mark application.
