How to Become a Registered Patent Agent

To become a registered patent agent you must qualify by examination. The annual examination is held in April. Those interested in the examination must apply by the deadline set out in a notice published in the Canadian Patent Office Record. Your attention is directed to rules 12 to 19 of the Patent Rules.
